Harvest View was once a lot with a large expanse of lawn on a busy street. The feeling of a private garden was our goal. Building a huge fieldstone wall with boulders was the first step and the backbone of the design. Fruit trees and berry bushes now encompass a large veggie garden. Flowering trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals block traffic but not views of Lake Erie! Walkways lead each visitor past rain gardens, french drains, and sitting patios. A clover and grass lawn finish this lesson in sustainable beauty.
